MEET THE MENTORS

Naomi is a research assistant at the Puri Lab where she investigates the role of the lncRNA EPR as a potential onco-suppressor within colorectal cancer cells.

Vivian serves as Link-Crew Academic Chair and HOSA Outreach Manager at University City High School alongside her role as a Sharp Memorial Hospital Volunteer.

Isela is a freshman at UC Berkeley.

Alessandra is a volunteer at SHARP Medical Center's cardiac unit, treasurer of Eastlake High School's Medicine4Youth, and president of Students Addressing Vaping & Addiction (SAVA)

Anika is enrolled in University City High School's four-year biomedical program

Owen is Link Crew Academic Chair at University City High School and a volunteer at Sharp Memorial and Sharp Mary Birch Hospitals.

Lavi is a volunteer at Sharp Memorial Hospital's telemetry unit, Key Club treasurer, and serves on the First Gen Scholars board at University City High.
